Join Us for a Christmas Drive-Thru Food Collection!
Saturday, December 13th
10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Where: Cranford United Methodist Church Parking Lot (next to the Cranford Library)
This holiday season, let’s come together to support local families in need. If you’re able, consider adding a bag of groceries to your shopping list this week. Your kindness can help bring a little extra cheer to families facing tough times.
What to Bring:
We’re collecting items for Christmas dinners, and your contributions will go to St. Joseph’s Social Services Center in Elizabeth. Suggested items include:
-
Fresh produce: apples, pears, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic, and carrots.
-
Pantry staples: applesauce, bottled gravy, broth, salt, pepper, oil, spices, salad dressing, pasta, pasta sauce, cookies, and pudding.
How It Works:
-
Load your grocery bags into your trunk.
-
Drive up to the church parking lot.
-
Pop your trunk, and our friendly volunteers will take care of the rest!
Please ensure all items are non-expired.
Can’t make it on December 13th? No worries! There are donation bins near the Little Free Pantry in the church’s parking lot, available 24/7 for your convenience.
Want to Get Involved? We’d love to have you help out with our food drives! Mark your calendar for the second Saturday of every month, and bring the whole family—kids are welcome too.
Visit cranfordumc.com for more details or call us at 908-276-0936 if you have any questions.
Your generosity makes a real difference—thank you for helping brighten someone’s holiday season!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
December 24 at 4 pm
The birth of Jesus is the radical act of God choosing to dwell with the overlooked, changing everything about how we understand faith and power.
Join us for a service of candlelight, reflection, and beloved carols. As we light the Christ Candle, we declare that the Light has arrived, lighting the path for all the dreams yet to come.

Hey, neighbors. Did you know that there is a Little Free Pantry in the parking lot of the church? It was built by Eagle Scout Josh Schwartz. In this time when so many families are being cut off from food assistance, the pantry is in great need of food. If you can help out, please drop off your food donations anytime, 24/7. If the pantry is full, please use the overflow bin located below the pantry.

Join us for our Drive-Thru Food Collection on the second Saturday of each month! Place your groceries in your trunk, drive up, pop your trunk, and volunteers will remove them. Cranford United Methodist Church’s parking lot is located next to the Cranford Library, 201 Lincoln Ave. East, Cranford. Can’t make it? There are bins outside near the Little Free Pantry in the church’s parking lot where non-perishable donations can be dropped any time, 24/7. For more info, contact the church office 908-276-0936.
